Audition schedule for ABS-CBN Dream Maker and other details about this.
ABS-CBN DREAM MAKER – ABS-CBN, MLD Entertainment. and KAMP Global will collaborate to form an all-male pop group.
The ABS-CBN network officially shut down on July 10, 2020, but instead of totally closing down, they found ways to expand and continue to thrive. And just recently, their latest agreement was with MLD Entertainment.
MLD Entertainment is the talent agency behind the K-pop girl groups MOMOLAND and Lapillus. And ABS-CBN is collaborating with them along with KAMP to create a 7-member, all-male pop group which will be launched internationally.
Star Magic head Laurenti Dyogi, ABS-CBN business unit heads Reily Santiago and Marcus Vinuya, MLD Entertainment CEO Lee Hyung-jin, and KAMP Global CEO Tim Kim were all present during the contract signing.
“It’s a reality competition that will be searching for a new male pop group that will be launched internationally, specifically to debut in Korea,” says Dyogi.
He added that they are really serious about bringing Filipino talents into the international arena and being recognized globally. And having been able to partner with these two companies that believe in Filipino talent is a step closer to the goal of the media company.
According to a report from ABS-CBN, the collaboration is a natural mix: ABS-CBN for “infrastructure, resources, and history here in the Philippine market”, MLD Entertainment for “K-pop know-hows”, and KAMP Global’s “international network”.
