In three weeks, Broken Marriage Vow will be ending and the actors shared some of their learnings.
BROKEN MARRIAGE VOW – The casts of the series “Broken Marriage Vow” shared some of the lessons they learned from their characters.
Jodi Sta. Maria as Dr. Jill Ilustre, Zanjoe Marudo as David Ilustre, and Sue Ramirez as Lexy Lucero are the three main characters of “The Broken Marriage Vow”. This Philippine series is the PH adaptation of the record-breaking South Korean series called “A World Of A Married Couple”.
The story is about the life of a married couple who faced a great trial. It’s a story of betrayal, relationship, love, and a test of parent’s love that really happens in real life. The story is actually something that anyone can relate to. And for the last three weeks of the series, the story will go around David and how he would navigate his feelings towards the two women.
Now, as it nears the end, some actors shared what they have learned from the characters they have played. Jane Oineza, as Diane Riagon, stressed the importance of self-love and learning to let go of someone.
Sue, the one playing the mistress role, indicated that it is important to listen to others. She added, “You really have to give value to the people who take care of you and hindi mo lang pwedeng ipilit nang ipilit ‘yung gusto mo.”
As Ketchup Eusebio, a cheating husband in the series said that there will be no justification as to why one cheats. Zaijian, the son of David and Jill, said that a child never blame himself for all the bad happenings of his family.
And Marudo, the cheating husband of Jill, one should not bring all the hatred and pain of his past into his present life as it would only affect the good things ahead.
Jodi echoed the same thing and said, “Choose our battles if you’re given the chance to fight or to let go, that’s up to you but if you were given the chance to treat the person the same way that that person treated you, I always hope that we choose the high road and we always choose to do better.”
