Cebu Pacific resumes Cebu-Singapore flights

Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ leading airline, restarts on July 15, its direct flight from Cebu to Singapore, boosting its international operations from Cebu. This is the second international destination the airline has resumed this month.

CEB will be operating said route thrice weekly, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Flight 5J 547 departs from the Mactan Cebu International Airport Terminal 2 at 11:05PM and arrives at Changi International Airport at 3:00AM the following day. Its return flight, 5J 548, with flights every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, is scheduled to leave Singapore at 4:00AM, and will arrive in Cebu at 8:05AM.

This direct flight enables passengers from22 other domestic destinations to fly to Singapore via Cebu. This includes Clark, Davao, Dumaguete, Tacloban, and Zamboanga, among others.

“We are excited to bring this route back to allow more passengers from Cebu and the rest of our network, especially those in the Visayas and Mindanao regions to fly internationally without passing through Manila. This route resumption is part of our continuous efforts to restore our pre-pandemic systemwide capacity,” said Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific Chief Commercial Officer.

Apart from Singapore, the carrier has resumed its flights to Seoul from its Cebu hub earlier this month.

Fully vaccinated guests entering Singapore are not required to submit a pre-departure COVID-19 test and are not required to undergo quarantine upon arrival. They must instead present their proof of full vaccination (VaxCertPH or BOQ Yellow Card), and fill out a Singapore Arrival card three (3) days before arrival.

Coming home to Cebu, boosted Filipinos no longer need to take a COVID test pre-departure. For more information, passengers may refer to CEB Travel reminders page for the latest updates and complete travel guidelines to their destination.

CEB continues to offer its guaranteed low fares to stimulate travel across its widest domestic network in the Philippines. It continues to implement a multi-layered approach to safety, while it operates with a 100% fully vaccinated crew, 95% of whom have been boosted – all to ensure every Juan flies safely and conveniently on Cebu Pacific.
