Guardian of Grade 4 Pupil Slams Teacher Over Offensive Words Against Little Boy

A grade 4 pupil has filed a complaint against his teacher after suffering trauma because of her distasteful remarks.

School teacher is personnel hired by both government and private schools to help students to acquire academic knowledge. They are also considered the second parent of the students inside the school premises.

Educators are tasked to teach and mold students to become better people in the future. Teachers were also assigned to help the students obtain knowledge and be competent employees in the future.

The parents of a grade 4 student from Jalas Elementary School in Aklan went to the New Washington Municipal Police Station to file a complaint against a school teacher. The educator reportedly gives distasteful remarks to her student.

According to the kid’s uncle named Albert Andrade, the young boy suffered trauma after hearing offensive words from his teacher. The incident reportedly happened in the middle of the class.

The complainants also revealed that the teacher only gives the students a 15-minute break during lunchtime. The teacher’s act causes fear in the young students and makes them absent from school.

Based on the blotter entry of New Washington MPS, the teacher reportedly violated the Republic Act 7610 under emotional abuse of minors.

“It shall be the policy of the State to protect and rehabilitate children gravely threatened or endangered by circumstances which affect or will affect their survival and normal development and over which they have no control.”

The teacher, victim’s uncle, and school principal will face each other at the office of the Department of Education (DepEd)-Aklan.
