According to the kid’s uncle named Albert Andrade, the young boy suffered trauma after hearing offensive words from his teacher. The incident reportedly happened in the middle of the class.

The complainants also revealed that the teacher only gives the students a 15-minute break during lunchtime. The teacher’s act causes fear in the young students and makes them absent from school.

Based on the blotter entry of New Washington MPS, the teacher reportedly violated the Republic Act 7610 under emotional abuse of minors.

“It shall be the policy of the State to protect and rehabilitate children gravely threatened or endangered by circumstances which affect or will affect their survival and normal development and over which they have no control.”

The teacher, victim’s uncle, and school principal will face each other at the office of the Department of Education (DepEd)-Aklan.
