What’s next for Jodi Sta Maria after doing “The Broken Marriage Vow”?
JODI STA MARIA – Dra. Jill Ilustre, Jodi Sta Maria, says she’s done with acting after “The Broken Marriage Vow”, here’s why.
“The Broken Marriage Vow” is the Philippine adaptation of the South Korean record-breaking series “The World Of A Married Couple”. Playing the iconic leading role is Jodi Sta Maria as Dra. Jill Ilustre. Alongside her are Zanjoe Marudo as David Ilustre and Sue Ramirez as Lexy Lucero
This story tackles about love, family, relationship, infidelity, and betrayal. It also shows the revenge of someone who got cheated on and how far a parent can go beyond for his or her children. The series is aired weeknights on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, Jeepney TV, A2Z Channel 11, and TV5. It is also available on iWantTFC and Viu.
It received beautiful feedback and it is now three-weeks from being finished. After TBMV, what is next now for Jodi? According to the actress, the role has already used up all of her creative juices as an actress. It drained everything in her and it required her to give her maximum.
It sucked up everything in her to the point of saying that this is probably going to be her last project. She has nothing to give anymore because she has poured her all already.
She’s clueless of what’s more she’s able to do. She gets out of their shoots physically, mentally, and emotionally exhausted. What she just know for now is she needed a must rest and break to recharge, to relax, and to calm herself.
“All I really needed lang pala was a break, to recharge, to relax, to just kalma. ‘Yan ang aabangan nilang exciting part. Wala pa talagang concrete na plano kung ano’ng mangyayari sa ’kin after ‘The Broken Marriage Vow.’ ‘Yun lang muna ang masasabi ko,” she said based on a report from ABS-CBN.
