What’s the reason behind the decision of Karla Estrada to leave ‘Magandang Buhay’?
Actress-host Karla Estrada reportedly will hold a position in the Department of Tourism after officially leaving the Kapamilya talk show Magandang Buhay.
Karla is the pioneer host of the morning talk show of ABS-CBN with Melai Cantiveros and Jolina Magdanagal. She took a break from her hosting stint when she ran for representative under the Tingog Party List.

Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez replaced Momshie Karla during the election season. As Regine became busy for her Iconic concert series with Megastar Sharon Cuneta, she needed to leave the morning talk show as well. Because of this, Queen of Soap Opera Judy Ann Santos host became the Magandang Buhay guest co-host.
Just recently, Karla Estrada shared a photo with Melai Cantiveros and Jolina Magdangal and this created speculations that she might come back to the show. However, it turned out that it was just a “paalam” episode.
In a recent Showbiz Update vlog of comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz, he said that there were those who asked why Karla won’t return to MB when her party list was not able to take three seats. She was the third nominee of Tingog.
Ogie shared that she was able to ask Karla about this during the birthday celebration of ABS-CBN executive Cory Vidanes. The Queen Mother said that she might hold a position in the Department of Tourism.
“Kundi Usec, Asec… Kasi ‘di ba sa Tourism yung pumwesto ro’n ay parang spokesperson ni VP Inday Sara… tingnan natin kung matutupad ang pangarap ni Karla na makapagsilbi bilang Usec or Asec ng Tourism, o bilang director ng Tourism, parang si Cesar Montano,” the comedian-talent manager said.
Meanwhile, Karla Estrada is also part of the movie Maid In Malacanang that is written and directed by Darryl Yap. She will portray the role of Yaya Santa.
