Kit Thompson To Be Replaced By JC de Vera in ‘Flower of Evil’?



Is it true that Kit Thompson is no longer part of “Flower of Evil”?

Rumor has it that JC Santos will replace Kit Thompson in the Kapamilya series Flower of Evil which features the tandem of Piolo Pascual and Lovi Poe.

The said series was a Filipino adaptation of a South Korean series with the same title. This is one of the most anticipated shows on the Kapamilya network. Based on the article in PEP, the role of Kit in this series is quite a major one and he has already shot a lot of scenes.

However, because of the recent controversy that Kit had with showbiz newbie Ana Jalandoni, it was rumored that the production team is thinking about replacing him. As of this writing, there is no confirmation yet coming from the people behind the show.

Entertainment columnist Gorgy Rula said that the latest update that they heard was that Kit Thompson will no longer be part of this show. However, their source has not confirmed if the production team has already discussed this with the actor and his management Cornerstone Entertainment.

The source also mentioned that JC de Vera was already chosen as Kit’s replacement. As of this writing, the camp of JC has not confirmed this yet. People close to Kit were also asked but they gave a safe answer saying that no news about this has reached their camp.

Erickson Raymundo of Cornerstone Entertainment was also asked about this issue but he has not given any reply. Entertainment columnist Jerry Olea added that there is no news also about the YouTube digital series Ang Babae Sa Likod Ng Face Mask that features Kit Thompson and Herlene Budol.
