PAGASA Says Easterlies & Localized Thunderstorms to Affect PH Weather Condition
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the easterlies and localized thunderstorms will bring rains over several parts of the country.
On Thursday (July 21, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The easterlies and localized thunderstorms will affect the country’s weather conditions.
PAGASA reported that the Easterlies will be affecting the eastern section of the country. The easterlies is the current weather system that will be affecting the country.
It will bring Cloudy weather conditions with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over the Bicol region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Aurora, CALABARZON, and Romblon.
“Sa araw na ito makararanas ng maulap na kalangitan na may mga kalat kalat na pagulan at thunderstorm sa Calabarzon, Bicol Region, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Rombol at Aurora,” Pagasa weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said.
The easterlies will bring partly cloudy to cloudy weather conditions with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country.
“Samantala sa nalalabing bahagi ng bansa kasama ang Metro Manila, asahan po na makakaranas ng bahagyang maulap hanggang sa maulap ang kalangitan na may tiyansa ng biglaan buhos ng ulan dahil sa thunderstorms,” Aurelio added.
Generally fair weather condition is expected over the rest of Visayas and the entire Mindanao with chances of isolated rain.
The weather agency also warned the residents in the affected areas of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains and during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over the entire country will be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
