Robin Padilla and Family Receive Balesin Trip From The Arroyos

ROBIN PADILLA – Celebrity couple Mariel and Robin Padilla are thankful to the Arroyos for treating them to a Balesin vacation.

Last June, Political rookie Robin Padilla took his oath as a senator before President Rodrigo Duterte held in Malacanang. In this year’s election, he won as the top candidate for senator. This is his first stint in politics.

He ran on a platform pushing federalism and advocated wage increases for workers. He has a great grasp of issues that matter to the people and he stressed pushing for constitutional reforms. Being a rookie, he also did not pretend to know everything, instead, he’s always been honest about his lack of knowledge but perseveres to learn.

He is thoroughly studying and his determination gave people to admire him even more. This goes to show that he is sincere in serving the people. He overcame all the prejudices thrown at him.

And for his win as a senator, he and his family received a special treat from former president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and her husband Atty. Mike Arroyo. They were treated to a vacation in Balesin for his victory in the national elections.

In an Instagram post, Mariel expressed that it should actually be the other way around because of their help for Robin but she couldn’t help but shower them with words of praise. She appreciated their thoughtfulness and generosity to them, reiterating how they are grateful for their help.

Mariel expressed, “Super nilang bait, super down to earth ng buong pamilya. Akala mo nakaka-intimidate pero lahat sila as in lahat sila super bait! Most important is the wisdom they shared and continue to share with us. We are so grateful!” 

The former host shared that they were the ones who organized rallies and meetings for Robin without asking for anything in return. They believe in her husband and they just wanted to be of help.

In the results, Robin emerged with the most number of votes, topping the senatorial race.
