Sylvia Sanchez highlighted the recent achievement of Arjo Atayde

Seasoned actress Sylvia Sanchez is proud of the success of her son actor Arjo Atayde in politics amid the mean comments that he received from his bashers.

Sylvia has been very supportive of Arjo’s showbiz career. The actor also has proven that he can establish his name in the industry through his talent and hard work.

This year, Arjo entered the world of politics and his mother has shown her full support. During the campaign period, Sylvia Sanchez even visited different places in District 1 of Quezon City in behalf of her son.

Their hard work during the campaign paid off, Arjo won and this is something that makes Sylvia proud of. In her Instagram post, the seasoned actress recalled the criticisms that her son received.

“Bago ka daw at walang alam at artista lang at kung ano ano pang masasakit na salitang ipinukol sayo. Lahat ng yon napawi habang pinapanood kitang nanunumpa bilang Bagong Congressman ng Distrito uno. Napaka proud ko sa mga oras na yo,” the actress said.

Sylvia added that she can’t avoid not remembering how other people ridiculed her son. Despite the negative comments, the actress said that Arjo chose not to counter attack because his goal was to serve the people.

With the political success of her son, Sylvia said, “Walang mapagsidlan ang kagalakan ko sa tagumpay mo. Pinaglaban mo ang gusto mo, ang laman ng puso’t isip mo at pinatunayan mong tama ka. Iba ka manindigan anak!!”

Sylvia Sanchez also assured Arjo Atayde that she and her husband Art Atayde will always be there for their son and willing to help him in whatever she may need. “Kaka proud!” she said.
